Why is my Neck ageing so fast and what can I do to prevent it?
The neck is one of the parts of the body that can potentially age faster than the rest of the region. The skin on the neck tends to be thinner than on the face & also has less oil-secreting glands. This makes it relatively dry.
It is also an area that is constantly moving, which can also help create regional lines. Most people also neglect the neck in terms of sun protection and don’t apply vitamin C or moisturise the area as often as the rest of the face.

What can be done about my ageing neck?
It is essential to moisturise the neck as often as the rest of the face. This is at least twice a day. It is also essential to apply sun protection daily and ensure that you are adequately hydrated.
Solutions to an ageing neck includes:
Skin boosters such as Juvederm Volite or Profhilo. These involve injecting a very fluid-like solution of pure Hyaluronic Acid superficially into the skin. These work by increasing hydration and further stimulating collagen formation.

Over time, fine lines and wrinkles appear, whether we like it or not, in the form of smile lines, furrows or sagging skin. A simple dermal filler treatment can now tackle what was once only fixable through surgical procedures. Dermal Fillers can be a great treatment for tackling this issue, perfect for reshaping the neck area to add volume and prevent sagging.

LED Light Therapy
LED lights to help stimulate collagen synthesis to enhance skins natural laxity, tightening the treated area and solving issues with a sagging neck. At our clinic in Harley Street, London, we only use and recommend the Celluma devices for this treatment, as they are FDA-approved and safe for all skin types.
Simply put, Microneedling is the mechanical insertion of extremely fine, short, sterilised needles into the skin for rejuvenation. Topical local anaesthetic is applied to the skin before the Microneedling. Next, the AnteAge® Growth Factors are applied to the face, and the Microneedling is then carried out to ensure the Growth Factors reach the deep part of the skin (Dermis).
